Fed: You're going to love your boat after having a 21'. You will be driving over Chiraco Summit -drop down and take your time. If you are doing this mid-day on a regular basis I would suggest a trans cooler. The desert heats up to 120 and your trans temp will be creeping up on the passes. BTW, rice road is being worked on. If you don't want tar slurry on your truck, boat and trailer I would recommend going via Edningburg (10 to 95).

Air assist bags are a nice addition to level your load so you're not sagging in the rear (level headlights too).

I've had V's in the past. This is my first cat, and I love it. I keep my boat in Havasu and do majority of my boating there. The cat is great for the water conditions out there. No more proposing on the chop - rides flat over it.

Small: Ya im pretty stoked with the purchase. Just took it into the shop yesterday(San Diego Performance Marine) and should get it back sometime wednesday.

The taho does have the tow package so it has the trans cooler. Its also has the load leveing air suspension in the back cuz its an LTZ model. It tows the boat no prob but i will be sure to watch my temp heading over Chiraco. Yes i do most of my towing during the day so its scorching out.

Didnt know Rice Rd. was having construction done. I will deff stay away from it. I'll take the 10 to the 95 like you suggested, my first trip out to Parker isnt till Memorial.

Are you gonna be out in Havi for Desert Storm? I wish i could make it...deff next year though...and i will take you up on that offer!
