I'm thinking about doing towing mirrors on my truck, saw one on here I think that had them that looked pretty sweet. I found them on Ebay for about $175, I'm just wondering, do the bolt right up to where your mirrors attach now, or is there some fabrication involved, and how durable they are?

From what I have seen the are bolt on and use a sturdy mounting bracket that gets rid of the mirror shake. I am looking at doing the same but want to use 03-07 silverado heated tow mirrors with turns signal in the mirror like these below. Still looking to see how they would fit but they look almost the same http://

They do look similiar, I bet that would be sweet to have with the Heated mirrors, is the wiring the same on those?

I love mine. Make hauling the camper possible.

I don't do alot of towing, but I do tow a 12' enclosed trailer for my band, and the mirrors seem like they would make a hell of difference, and they make your truck look more wider/beefier.

There is a company that makes gmt800 replica mirrors with gmt400 bases on ebay. They are good quality and bolt-on. They are know for a slight vibration in the mirror due to the small mounting bases on the truck that original weren't designed for such a heavy mirror.

Those will not fit your truck. Your going to have to search google on how to make them fit. It's been done, but it's not easy.
