Towing/park assist question

I have a 2009 Tahoe LT 4x4. Is it normal for the park assist to shut off when towing a trailer? Just curious. Couldn't find any info in the owners manual about this.

Yes it is. Mine comes on for a few seconds after I hook up our Airstream then shuts off. It activates normally when trailer is detached.
