I have a Denali XL with auto ride that I tow a 26ft travel trailer with. Has anyone added any accessories to make towing/leveling easier????? I hate the sag in the rear, the auto ride does a decent job, but was wondering if anyone has added air springs????
Any towing suggestions would be appreicated.

You need at least weight distribution bars and a trailer brake controller if you don't have either already, the bars will take alot of the sag out of the rear which will help your air ride from dying a quick death without!! Trailer brake controller is also a must if you are pulling a trailer that size!

I also had the air ride crap and the compressor ended up crapping out. I installed some aftermarket load leveling shocks(shocks with a coil spring around it). Towed maybe 4klbs trailer weight included now they sit lower, but I think I am going to get z71 springs to help the towing situation. They are rated for an extra 1500lbs than the lt or ls models from what I've read.

I use Firestone air-bags in the springs - works awesome - but yes - make sure you have a weight dist hitch!

This is great advice. You might want a set of towing mirrors too.

I have both the hitch and the brake controler. Stopping the trailer with out one would be a challenge and half. The hitch does a good job, just looking for anything else to help it along. Are the Denali and Z71 coil springs the same?

That i don't know about. I have a lt and with a trailer that weighs no more than 1500lbs my truck sits half inch lower in the back with the trailer alone. There is a company online called partsgeek. they have the z71 springs for $67 pair. Gmpartsdirect has them for $115 or so if I remember correctly.

Trailer brake, dist hitch and helper bags should be all to make life alot easier. If I recall Z71 springs are stiffer
