I have an 06 Denali XL and my service autoride light is on. I looked at my shocks and the airbags are basically shredded and I'd say my compressor is bad too. I was planning to take a trip and tow my Sonoma on a Uhaul car trailer before I'll be able to replace the shocks and compressor. Will I be able to tow that truck and trailer with the shocks like that and if I do, is there a good chance it will cause more damage to my Denali?
Thanks for any help

I don`t think you`ll do any damage to your truck but you may experience some handling problems towing that much weight.

The compressor on my yukon went bad and i towed my 6x12 trailer with only 2000 pounds on it and the rear squatted alot more and was swaying way more than it does with the autoride functioning properly.

I would think with the extra weight of your XL and what you`re towing may be a problem.

There are a few threads on this site about putting regular shocks in place of the autoride ones. It`s cheaper than replacing the airbags and compressor if you want to go that route.

This is a website someone posted here that i have saved to my favorites in case i ever need new shocks, they sell good replacement autoride equipment way cheaper than the stealership.
