i installed a set of airlift 1000 bags. They went in pretty easy..took about 30-45 mins. When not towing you need to keep 5psi in the bags... otherwise they go up to 30 or 35 psi and are supposed to level up to 1000lbs. I like the ride with them installed, it takes away some of the sway in the rear when cornering...too much air w/o load gets a bit rough, but liveable if you were on your way to get a heavy trailer and didn't have air where the trailer was.

Also, you should look into getting a bigger tranny cooler installed, the stockers are very small and a bigger cooler is cheap insurance!!

hmmm....

i towed my lifted Grand Cherokee with my Tahoe a few years ago... all the way out to Utah. The tow hitch is rated at 500lb tongue loading, isnt it? I fiddled with mine until I got the rear end squatted "enough". I spent 30 minutes with the balancing act. Too much or too little tongue loading and the rear was swaying. I thought the trailer was driving at one point.

Once I had the balancing act completed, I always drove the Jeep to the same point on the trailer. I also learned to watch the rear end drop to a certain point... since learning that, I've never had any towing issues or discomfort. The bags are great if you regularly haul long distances. I'd think that if you're going a short disance, the trick would be load balancing.
