Does anyone know if the Tpms sensors from my 2005 will physically fit into the 17" oem wheels of a 2015 GMC Yukon? Sensors are programmed to the truck, I need the valve stem and sensor put in the 2015 wheels though. Will they mount in the wheel or what needs to happen so the sensors will work with my new takeoffs ?

They should fit just fine. I just moved mine from my stockers to my new 375's.....you will need new seals though most likely. The kits can be found on Amazon. I believe the kit comes with a new nut and seal. Also be forewarned that they might break when removing due to corosion buildup. I had 2 of mine break but maybe that is a midwest thing where we see harsher elements and salt.

Ok, thanks. the local tire college graduate was insisting it won't work and making me doubt myself. Not worried about breaking them, I have four brand new ones since one old one already didn't work and they are 11 years old.

Prolly confused about the sensors themselves not working with the various model years.....I ended up replacing all mine as well as they were close to the same age as yours.

they will work just fine. the only thing you cant do is take a nbs sensor and make it work on a nnbs or a 2015+ and thats probably what hes thinking.

the "new style" from teh 2015 wheels TPMS sensor on left, 2005 style (Dorman 974-007 replacements) on right. they work great so far, hopefully they will last another 10 years. ac delco were like $10 more each, and didn't come with the nut or whatever thats like another $5 each. anyway, the styles interchange fine, no problems whatsoever. again, the tire guy insisted this wouldn't work.2813526f-b0ed-4cbe-ba44-62698cf9972a.jpg 58cb71d9-2332-4d8d-a018-137a7c0d4e6b.jpg
