I have a 2011 Tahoe with 22" Stock Caddy rims. I have tried to reset the TPMS system with the deflate method, multiple times, with no success. Is this even possible to get the Caddy sensors to communicate with the Chevy system? if so, HOW?

The new rims do have TPMS installed and both being GM products I think it should work.

I NEED TO GET THIS LIGHT OFF MY DASH!!

PLEASE HELP!

SW CT,
you need to have a tire shop reset them, the newer vehicles do not use the tire deflate/inflate method. The shops have a handheld device that activates each tpms individually.

The owners manual for my 2011 says to use the deflate method. Any idea how much a shop would charge for the reset?

Are your Caddy rims 2011 also? Each year uses a different bandwidth to communicate with the truck. If they are 2007 rims they need to be reset with the tool to go with ur 2011. Had the same problem when i bought 2011 rims for my 2007 and i tried to do the deflate method. Easy fix.

It is my understanding as well that a decent tire shop can re-calculate/re-program your sensors pretty easily

Most dealerships will reset TPMS for free.

I thought they were 2011's but now im not sure because they wont reset.

So a tech at like a Mavis Tire shop would be able to reset the tpms to work with my 2011?
