This morning took off from a stop sign the road was clear of snow the traction active light came on the DIC went off after a few seconds but when it went off the check engine light came on, still runs and drives fine, gonna check the codes after work, anyone else have this issue before? Not sure if a bad wheel speed sensor would trigger the check engine light? I'm assuming the issues are related

Yup, classic symptoms. Complete stop, you start and TC goes active. Hint: Put new hubs on instead. Shop around, bought my from 1 A Auto , it was like $30 bucks more, includes the new sensor, and you just took care of your bearings.
