Trade stock z71 17's for black rims

I'm looking to trade my z71 stock rims for black rims. Size is not an issue, i just want to be able to run 285's. Currently have bf goodrich AT's in good condition on the stock rims.

just an FYI you can run 285/70 17 on stock wheels actually I think some are running 295's

Would that make them line up better with my oem flares that come on the z71? or do you think I would need an offset?

if you put 285's on an offset wheel you will rub, if you put them on the stock wheels you can crank the keys and you will be fine..
I ran the 285's with no rub..
