I'm not getting power past the fuse panel, checked with test light. Right side brake and turn work fine, left side doesn't. This is trailer only, not truck lights. (i.e., the trailer wiring in the truck) So when I put the brakes on, the truck brake lights work, and one of the trailer brake lights.

I've found the fuse with a test light that doesn't get power under the left side dash, just dont know how to trace it forward from here. I've checked every fuse under dash and under hood.

2005 Escalade. Thanks for looking-

The fuse I'm pointing to is the one not getting power with the brake or left blinker on, check with test light. I've also seen the same results with 2 separate trailers.

I would check under the hood in the power distribution center, there are fuses for the trailer there also.

Exactly, I had my running lights fuse burn out on my truck when I was pulling my boat home from a trip a couple weeks ago, ended up being the one under the hood in the black box on the drivers side!

I've checked everything under the hood, TWICE! Not sure if I test lighted the trailer fuse under the hood, I guess I could try that. The fuses however, are all fine.

Thanks for the help!

Have you checked the wiring and connections for damage?

I have power to the b/u light fuse under the hood via test light, but not back at the back up lights. (they won't come on, no power)

I also have no park lock out protection, which I'm guessing is related. Meaning, I don't have to have my foot on the brakes to put in gear.
