Coming from a Diesel, it's the only way to go when you have to tow something. I use to be able to spin 35" tires while pulling a 6k boat. my hoe struggles. I miss my truck
I dream of the day I can buy a Denali with a Duramax/Allison. 800 lb-ft of torque is just awesome. The friends I tow to the track with that have Duramax or Powerstroke truck just smoke the Denali, especially in the mountains. I'll run OK at 70 on flat ground, but pull any kind of grade and I'm in 4th pulling 55-60, they're just relaxing with the cruise set at 70. And I'm getting 9mpg, they're getting 13. And the guys that are using Hoes, they're pulling the same grades in 3rd or 4th at 50. I want an American SUV with a turbodiesel. Is anyone in Detroit listening?
