I have a 2002 Yukon with 215k miles, 4wd and has had all regular maintnence. Lately it has seemed like it has been slow shifting, for example when going from a stop sign and I start accelerating, it revs up a good amount then shifts, or when on the highway traveling at around 65, then I try to pass another car I gas it an it revs up, I back down, then accelerate again then it's fine. Is this a sign of my tranny going? Or does the fluid and filter just knee to be changed or does something need adjusting? Thanks

could a bad pinion bearing cause this? i think i have a bad one due to a loud clunking noise when going over speed bumbs, and maybe the two are related?
