Tranny wont shift

Ok guys I really need your help. I started up my Tahoe today and it wont shift correctly. Had not been showing any problems.

Takes long for 1st gear to go in. Did not drive it much but its weird cause my ac compressor wont come on either. Dad is telling me some faulty switch that goes under dashboard tends to go bad. Everything had been working fine. Two problems in one day. It was hot today so i am hoping its an electrical issue

The compressor should still kick in maybe it went out? And the trans what happens when tour manually do first?

check compressor clutch n bearing before repalcing the whole thing.
