Help! 2016 Escalade esv 4wd w/ 53k. I get a vinrarion/humming sound if I’m staying at a consistent 11-1200 rpm. I was driving trying to pin point the sound location, I hit the tow/haul button and the sound goes away since the rpms jump up but once I bring the rpm’s back down the noise comes right back! I occasionally will get a hard shift as well. Any one have or has this problem and found a solution?

If you haven't already changed the fluid, you are overdue. If the fluid is original and you have the 8-speed transmission, there is new fluid to address issues many were having earlier. It may be too late though.

When the torque converters fail, they send metal through the pump and the whole transmission which then demands a complete overhaul or replacement and a new converter. If the worst case happens, go with Sonnax converter parts.

@swathdiver thanks for the info, I have reached out to the dealership that I recently purchased this from to see if they could get me the service history to see if this fluid has been changed. If metal has gone through the trans would it still be only making the noise at a certain rpm like it does or would it be doing it constantly?

I don't know the answer to that question. If you have a CarFax, if it lists the places where the car had been previously serviced you could contact them directly yourself as well. That's what I did and the two dealerships emailed me pdf copies of all the receipts on file.
