Depending on the linearity of the sensor you may be able to add a small resistor inline in the (5v?) signal line to calibrate it. That would be somewhat of a guess method unless you can determine what signal voltage equates to what temp on the gauge.

Roger, just recieved the fast cooler yesterday. Haven't ordered the fluid yet but I also have a sensor and pigtail ready to go just haven't looked at wiring yet. Been working on a 5.4 Triton POS.

I have 2,700 miles to figure it all out before the cluster goes in.

Just to update this thread, I used a standard LS engine coolant temp sensor wired into the C2:51 Yellow and Black wire and ran the ground to the frame. Using this method you could have the factory trans temp gauge monitor the temp of anything you can stick that sensor is. For example, if you are a coffee lover you could easily have the sensor run into the cup holder and dip it into your coffee to monitor its temp on your cluster and avoid burning your mouth.
