transfer case .........changing the fluid

hey..........got a 1996 2 door ls 4x4 about a year ago. really interested in changing the fluid in the transfer case. I am actually a cutlass guy, got 2 85 salons. kinda new to the tahoe/ 4x4 thing so any help would be great. fluid capacity, type of oil, best way to do it?

oils been changed( 3 times in a year), tranny was rebuilt and toughened up, so all I got left is the transfer case

Dexron III. Drain from the bottom plug fill to the bottom of the top plug. 4.5 pints. Plugs are on the rear side and should look the same.
