Transfer Case Noise

So of course my transfer case is leaking fluid but I cannot see where it is coming from. I know these are notorious for getting a pinhole leak but have no idea about fixing it. Any info would be great guys, thanks.

If it [The transfer case] is getting noisy, there is some wear somewhere.



(Especially if you can definitely determine that there is a new noise coming from the T-Case assembly.)

It will be more expensive to fix if it goes critical.

i do not know the model of the transfer case. I drive a 99 yukon with electronic 4x4 switch

okay so its pretty straight forward to fix i just have to get it out of the truck and try not to bleed everywhere, lol

It is a known weak spot. The kit is a good fix. Be careful and follow directions and keep all clean.
