you can go to trans adapt or advanced adapters and put on any t case you want... if you using a chevy front axle the dif is on the pass side so you would have to change it but you probably going with a ford axle it will be on the drivers side... you should put a 205 in it or a 203 they are not chain driven they are all gears... and if you are serious about it you might as well put a dana 44 in the front and probably a corp 14 bolt in the back... all you had to do to figure out the t case deal is find any right up on a 4l60e and a t case swap they are so common you cant screw it up! just sayin...

I have a 2 door 98 Tahoe 4x4 and I want to put in a solid axle. I know the axle I want to use. Here is my problem/question. My tc has the slip yoke built in it and I need one that doesn't have one. When I get a Tom Woods drive shaft Ill have it on it. What years transfer case didn't have the slip yoke built in it and will bolt up to the 4L60E trany? I have a switch to put mine in 4x4 and I was wondering if I get an old tc can I add the parts from mine to make it switch the same way I can now or will I have to put in the leaver and if I have to use the leaver will that affect my computer?

Just wondering how many people here wheel there's and how well dose your ISA hold up with or with out a lift? The only trails I'll be running on is 3's and very few 4's.
