Got 05 Tahoe Z71 with a transfer case delima. It got stuck in 4 lo and would not come out. I pulled the transfer case motor and hit the 2 hi button. Motor rotated but the transfer case will not rotate that far around. Can some one tell me where 2 hi is located on the transfer case. thanks Update 4/19/11 pretty sure I know where neutrel is so I adjusted the motor to neutrel and plugged it in. Showed neutrel on the dash just like it should. Pushed 2H and motor moved to that position. Put motor right on Tcase and eveything lined up. Bolted it in (15 pounds) and tried to move it to 4H. It went to 4WD Auto on the dash. Tried to go to 2H and it went to 4H. Any thoughts? Could it be the motor or the encoder?
