transfercase?

Hello there I am haveing a problem with my 4x4 I have the push button when in neutral and try to put it in 4hi you hear the clunk as if it engaged but the 4hi light sits and blinks I put in drive and its still in 2 weel now 2low when I push it it clunks like it engaged and I put it in drive and it is in 2low so it is working but the light is blinking as well what would cause this there are no codes this is the 3ed time in a row iv changed the case I've replaced the four by four actuator and I have a brand new push button actuator and changed the switching motor on the tcase its self? What am I missing or over looking?

well if you had it in neutral when you selected 4h i and it still in 4lo there is something wrong with that statement. are you saying you knew in fact the t-case was in neutral with tranny engaged or based that just on the light status but did not verify with tranny engaged? also the " so it is working but the light is blinking as well" statement mean the 4hi is still the only one blink or is the 4lo blinking as well. Let me know. Also verify that the regulated voltage that feeds the actual switch contacts is at a regulated 8v and check the voltage on the return line while depressing each mode. the regulated supply wire is the light green/black wire going in to the switch on the c1 connector and the return voltage line it the light blue wire. the c1 connector has 8 terminal cavities on it. the voltages you are looking for can be found in the following document on page 3.

A proper scan tool can see the pids that will also tell you what the tccm sees as well for more a more in depth look
