Damn damn!!:flamingdevil: i was changing my fuel filter and i was checking everything under..driveshaft has lil play up & down but as i looked by trans.there's fresh oil leaking out where the shaft connects to tranny..any1 have any clue if my tranny is going out??IMG_1035.jpg

Take a breath, youll be fine!

Your seal is bad.

Easy fix!!!

Be sure to take sand paper and clean up your drive shaft where it slides into the transmission so it wont rub the new seal.

Sorry I ment your Transfer case output seal.

Still no big deal, easy fix!

Remove your drive shaft, take a screwdriver and pop that old seal off.

Then place the new seal in the t case and take a Large socket ( fits around the seal) and gently tap it in till its in all the way.

I like to clock the weep hole at 9:00 instead of looking down ( 6:00 )

I had the same thing happen to mine last year. Puked fluid everywhere. Dealership charged almost $900 for the fix, but my warranty covered it.
