Transmission acting up

So recently my transmission wants to shift to the next gear after 35mph at a higher RPM. To avoid this I let off the gas for the shift to happen then I can accelerate to 50mph while hearing the engine wanting to rev up to make that next shift possible. When I put the vehicle in drive from being parked. The vehicle makes a noticeable thud sound. and with my foot on the brake it wants to bolt or jerk as I make that shift from park to drive. I noticed metal shaving on the dip
Stick. I had the fluid changed at 95K but now it’s 115K 2015 Yukon 2wd SLE.

Does this look like a new transmission or is this a simple fix with a transmission specialist?

I noticed metal shaving on the dipstick.
This should tell you everything you need to know...Drop the pan to confirm but sounds like some sort of hard part failure inside the unit which, if so, will require a complete and total overhaul or replacement...If you decide to go that route, check out my 6L80 Information Thread (link is in my signature line) for resources and parts info, etc...
