Transmission compatibility for a 04 Tahoe 4.8L

Will a transmission from a 99 Silverado 1500 4WD 5.3L work in my Tahoe? I did a what transmission do I have look up tool search by make model and year both results came up with 4L60-E 4WD. Maybe it's just me but I find it hard to believe that it is that simple to check and that everything down to wire clips and all will just hook back up. I appreciate any help/advice with this.

Looking at GMpartsdirect.com it looks like two different part numbers. Something makes them different. It could be something that would not matter in your case (like maybe just an internal part upgrade), or it could mean a real aggravation factor trying to adapt it.
