OK here's the story. My Yukon has a 468 BB, rated around 650 HP. The tranny is a 4l60e with a stage 3 kit. Rated for 700 HP. Has a B&M 2500 stall converter. Got it all back together and the tranny is slipping. Not shifting right. My question is this, should I have put chip in it or could it be the transmission came messed up from the factory. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you use the right trans fluid? Did it automatically start slipping on the first move?

Sorry for taking so long, I used the dex III in it and it did start the slipping as soon as I got it filled. All I did was drive it down the road a short distance to try it out. I did not buy the transmission, the guy I got the Yukon from had purchaced it before hand. It was still in the crate when I picked it up.
