transmission leak

2008 Yukon Denali, 38k miles.

Went and got it checked the other day, but they could not tell exactly where it was coming from, just being sprayed up under the undercover. Any idea of why it might be leaking from here?

Looks like it "Could" be the rear seal since there doesn't look to be any fluid on the outer casing.

I just took it to a local shop first.

I had E-X-A-C-T same problem on my 2008 when I bought it. 12,000 miles.

Under warranty, GM dealer replaced the drive shaft, rear seal, and the back housing. Took 3 trips to dealer ... Now it doesnt leak ... sheesh.

Good luck ...
