My truck supposedly has this feature/option according to the Tahoe 2WD Police Package-PPV Brochure:

TRANSMISSION Enhanced Calibration 4-Speed Automatic w/Overdrive

Does anybody have a clue on what they mean by "enhanced". Firmer shift points, etc?? What I do know is that it doesn't have the Tow feature but what else does it mean?

I was trying to find the link for you but couldn't find it. I remember reading about the Tahoe PPV when they first came out and it said the shifts are delayed a little (so you get more power out of each gear), they also mentioned gaining a little mpgs haha. I would imagine chevy has tuned the transmission to be a little more aggressive, since it is "pursuit rated." Here is the Michigan State Police police vehicle testing website. The MSP are the ones who test and rate police vehicles and almost every dept in the nation uses their tests to evaluate new patrol cars. The MSP test are what chevy uses to evaluate their cars performance and try and improve in areas they feel they are lacking

I thought you might like to read how your PPV did in the MSP tests, they do acceleration times and top speeds, lap times and everything you could think of
