I have a 2005 tahoe 4x4, with some accessories, i am going to get the transmission fluid changed this week. Should i get a full flush or just drain the old fluid and put new fluid in it?
Thanks guys

A full flush is good but usually when that is done the filter never gets changed. All it does is break up the stuff that the filter is holding on to and put it back into the fluid to get trapped somewhere else (possibly in a solenoid or valve) .

As long as you aren't having any problems just dropping the pan and changing the filter is good enough.

Do not flush! Its bad for the tranny (from personal expirence and from what I am told by a couple mechanic friends) all it does is push the dirty fluid all around the tranny and can cause more trouble than not replacing, it also only gets rid of about 70% of the old fluid. Have the pan dropped, this is necessary to clean the magnet that traps all the metallic debris in the tranny and ensures that the maximum amount of old fluid is drained so that you can have pretty much all new fluid instead of diluted old fluid, and have the filter changed
