cool, cant wait to see the end result, been thinking the caddy is also in need of differnt means of burning fuel too. you do yours first so it will be easeier for me! lol! also, look on ls1truck.com for more tranny swap info a good site for these trucks also. good luck with your build.

Long story short, the money did not make since once everything needed for a duramax swap. I would have never gotten the invest ment back even 50%. And I was still going to have a weak point being the frame. Decided to see how many miles I could put on stock motor. I’m at 235k now with 48psi oil at idle. She is still kicking along. That’s that.
