ok so I know this is a topic that has been talked about a lot but I am new at this and I want to find out what 4l60e fit on an 03 5.3 Tahoe. I was looking around and saw that they go from 98 to 03?? or 02?? plz help

They have an early model, then they have the 97-03, it's a 2 piece unit and they have the later model from 04-?

Stick with the year that it is going into if for some reason you can not rebuild your existing one. Less headache. But if it is a used you must start with the 2001 model year at minimum.

so I can use a 98??? I am trying to get a used one for cheep for now so I can rebuild the one I have I just needed to know if it would fit it?? and thanks for your guys help..
