Trick to reinstalling 3rd row seat?

My parents have a 2004 Tahoe and took out the 3rd row seats for a trip. One of them went back in just fine, but the other one won't seem to "latch" back into place. I reviewed the instructions in the manual, but just can't seem to get it right. Any tricks?

Make shure the latch isnt already "latched".
mutch like a door latch sometimes gets shut and you see ppl slamming the shit outtatheir door, when they just need to hold door handle open and pop the latch back open...
