Mine were so rusted up I used a pair of bolt cutters and just wacked them off as clost to bar and swing arm, then used punch to drive rest of it out.

pb blaster, let it sit for a hour or so. Heat is always a good option for removing rusty nuts. You can get map gas (yellow bottle) from any store. Home Depo probably be the best bet as they have a Attachment that you can press a trigger and have instant flame. Map gas burns hotter that propane. You can also try using a impact on the nut.

How's it going? Welcome to the club :)
What kind of problems are you having?
Mine came off without any problems using the proper hand tools.

OK ok, I live in NC now, but was born and raised in Boston. Only been down here 3 years. BUT,
Thankfully my Tahoe was a southern bell, originally from Georgia :) haha. So its in amazing condition, I dont have to fight with anything. A little tug and pretty much all hardware comes loose, kinda nice.

Hah, I know what youre saying Adam. Thats why we moved down here, one for the weather and two to be able to work on my vehicles year round, hah. Though it does get cold, it doesnt snow.

Like said, breakaway or pb blaster will do the trick otherwise cuttem off.
