I'm looking at 2 door Tahoes and have noticed that the Sport models have a plastic piece around the wheel wells. Do you know of a resources that tells the difference between the trim levels? I've seen LT, LS, and base models but don't know anything other than that. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

the little plastic piece adds a few extra HP.

Basically the LT models are the "loaded" models

LS have some of the creature comforts

Base models have the cheap options.

My LT has leather, cd & cassette, power everything, power driver seat, etc...

Clean retail is listed as about $500 more for LT over an LS, LS $400 more than Base model.

mine is a sport. Two tone paint, fender flares, skid plates, leather, sits a bit higher than most (before the lift)

+1 for the extra HP. Some rare versions also had a spare tire breather snorkel and viscous headlight couplers. The snorkel is necessary so the headlight fluid reservoirs can maintain proper operating pressure. Have you checked your headlight fluid reservoirs lately?

Mine was a bit low today. their working much better now that I topped them off. Plus does anyone know where I can get a new muffler barring? Mines going out. :dogpile:

Muffler bearings are pretty cheap and easy, just go to your local parts house and ask for one. They'll hook you up. I'm adding a cooling system for my muffler bearings (dual exhaust), I'll add that to my signature.
