i am having an issue with my rear passenger side seat Belt..it seems that it decided to fold up into the seat belt retractor..can anyone let me know how to remove the trim panel where the seat belt retractor is located...

you will have to loosen that side rear panel 7 then un-snap that panel, grab it by the upper rear window, now the rear door but the rear window.
I have a suburban and pulled mine off a couple weeeks abo but the panels are the same.
