Trip and trans temp not working

Trip and trans temp quit yesterday. Noticed that the readout moved down to the second level about a week ago. I need the trans temp because I am going to pull my 1970 Chevelle to CRUISIN the Coast in Oct. Help!!! Thanks.

you might try disconnecting the battery for a minute just to see if it comes back after a fresh handshake.
