Truck feels unstable in the wet all the sudden.

So driving my wife's 10 Tahoe (with stock size all seasons with plenty of tread and no abnormal wear) on Thursday night. We were turning into a neighborhood as normal only difference it was a wet out, not actively raining but wet. And at first i thought it was a flat tire, because under very little throttle the truck seemingly rolled (body) and slid. So of course Saturday i crawled under the truck poking and prodding at the normal suspects first was the sway bar end-links which were tight and secure next i looked at the shocks not leaking or showing signs of failure bounce test passed. So now im at a point were i want to replace the tires as it continues to get cold and impending snow fall will surely not be good with these handling characteristics. As she(the wife) drives several hundred miles a week for work at least once a week out of state. so with that said anyone had this happen? Thoughts? Ideas?
psi in tires is 38 psi all around

wet again this morning and get a text asking if she needs to go get tires put on the truck it was sliding around and engaging the dsc/tc. So it was not isolated and continues to be an issue but only when wet..

Just got rid of my duelers with 8/12 left for he same reason. First two weeks on the continentals have been a world of difference. Much more responsive in the dry and firmly planted in the wet.

Was that a tires issue? because I have the Good Year brand and I do experience that from time to time as well. My tires have about 15k on them

That's odd. With as many of us that have run Duelers you'd think this would be a known issue if it was really due to the tires. I ran Duelers on 20" LTZ's for quite a few thousand miles and never experienced this issue in my truck. These are a VERY popular large SUV tire.

Maybe a bad brake caliper causing pull?

I would think, unless slightly catching, this would be an issue noticed at all times. Do you hear any squealing on dry pavement? Only happen when you turn? Maybe a sensor that is getting wet and malfunctioning

This could be. It seems odd that he's had these tires for awhile now, but hasn't experienced this issue until now. Makes me think its something else beside the tires causing the problem.

Yeah, but if he's braking through turns it may be more noticable at that point.

That is true but I would think it would be noticeable on dry pavement also. I could be wrong but that has been my experience.
