truck not Starting

my 02 yukon denali decided to conk out on me today..2 hours away from Home..everything was working good...then i was ready to go home and the Truck starts but wont stay running..it will start everything i turn the key...just wont keep running..also they said the fuel pump was not heard running..but i never had any indication that it was going...everything was working great..could there be something else other than the fuel pump...maybe security system..

Doesn't sound like the alarm causing the problem since it kinda starts, might be the fuel pump!! Try turning the key to the run, not start position for a second or 2 and then turn it of, try that 2 more times and then try starting it. If it starts or at least starts better then I'd say a pressure check for your fuel pump is in order!

sounds like its running out of fuel, pump wont keep up. Possibly a regulator?

i have the truck at the garage and he said the fuel pump is not getting any power..he is going to check all the wires going to the fuel pump and the fuses and relays..Where is the regulator located on the 02 yukon denali
