I have a 2004 Tahoe with 2/3 eibach drop. I have replaced the passanger hub assembly and most front end components within 20k miles. I have had it looked at and they say all parts look good but it wonders on the grooves of the road. I also have 22" KMC slides with 305/40/22. Now could this issue be the drivers side hub assembly going bad or is it just my set up, big tires and cheap lowering kit. I plan to replace with spindles just need the time and money. Just looking for some info on this. The hub assembly is easy enough and I will probably just do it. Maybe I am just looking for a reason to talk to you guys. It has been a while since I have posted. As always I appreciate all and any input!

I cant imagine the hub being so loose to cause the wandering without it being painfully obvious during an actual inspection of said hub . I've had to replace several hubs on different trucks i have and its always been a noisey growl that signaled the bad hub. Currently my 03 hoe thats sitting stock height does the same thing (wander) and ive replaced the steering box pitman arm idler arm and related bracket and have new ball joints and tie rod ends sitting on the shelf as i paitently wait to recieved my 2/3 spindle drop from tony

That's what I thought. Just figured I'd ask! Keep me posted on all the updates. Sounds like gonna have a new front end soon

I too have an 04 tahoe that has the same issues. I've replaced everything on the front end except the steering gear box. From everyone I've talked to say the box is the culprit, just time and money to replace it is all I'm waiting on.

Thanks

I appreciate the info guys! You make this pretty easy. I guess I will start with shocks and hub assembly. These I can do on my own and it needs it and then steering box next. I certainly appreciate you guys, again!
