I’ve only been back a few days and I’m already stirring up trouble! I always seem to find them! You know, the a**holes. They’re everywhere aren’t they? And you guys know I have a hard time keeping my mouth shut when they show their true colors. It’s never boring with me anyway! And no, it’s not any of you guys, you know I have nothing but love for you. :)

I believe 09 or 10 where the first years for the chrome trim on the side molding.
My '08 has it, that is what made me notice it. '09 was the first year to have the chrome along the rear bumper "step", I believe because that is when the bumpers changed.

Here’s a few pics of the RPO codes in a printout from the free VIN decoder at GM Parts Giant. Maybe you can compare to see where the difference is. The first regarding exterior molding is B85, Molding B/S exterior, Bright. Then I see the first LTZ mention at SLT-LTZ sales package, then STZ- LTZ sales package, then there’s some fascia ones VGD and VGE fascia, custom body color, and then VGK- ornamentation emblem LTZ. Also curious what your running board RPO is-mines BVE- running board, side. Not sure if mine are factory or aftermarket.

I see the running boards are different- mines BVE side running boards, yours is BVU assist step. So yours are power assist? Yours also has only VGE body color rear fascia, mine has that plus VGD- fascia front custom body color which might be the side moldings. And yours has a chrome appearance package, mine doesn’t. There’s a few other differences. I’m sure they’re not all the same, depends on what the dealer ordered probably.

Used the Cerakote headlight restoration kit and I am as impressed with it as I was with the trim kits. These were so hazy I almost couldn’t see the interior of them. Very nice results. This is after drying for a few hours so it’s the final result.

Looks great! What kind of work is involved with that kit?
