Okay, so I been creeping on this forum for a bit, so I decided to go ahead and make my profile. But to the point, I think I'm ready to try my first lift. I'm driving a 99 Tahoe hard body, non-diesel. What I'm looking to do is replace the keys up front, and put blocks and shackles in the rear. At the moment I'm looking around on eBay, but to be honest I have no idea what combination of sizes to get. Obviously they keys are all 1"-3" but with the blocks and shackles, each setup has from 1" all the way to 3" for each. Which size would you guys recommend to give me a lifted but level look?

unknown at this time.
anything at or over 2" up front will stress stock the have shafts upfront unless you drop the diffy with a lift kit. the keys alone should level out a just out of the factory stance. if the rear needs blocks to help make it level as well then you leaf springs are weak and should be replaced. regardless you can crank your own and maybe get 1-2" from them now. anything more then that look in to lift kits like 3-4 inches if you want small. just be sure it can drop the front diffy as well.

So if I understand you right, you are saying just adjust my current keys now, and replace my leafs if they are sagging?

Yup do 2 in crank and Itl be good. If you want more lift get a body lift or suspension lift.
