tune help

I recently purchased a 1997 tahoe 4x4. My plans are underdrive pullies, spectre cai, pacesetter shorties, h-pipe, to dual ****** competition turbo mufflers. I was thinking of going with a JET performance programmer. Does anyone have any experience with these, or better recommendations are greatly appreciated. TY

To hell with the jet performance chip. Get a Black Bear Tune. It is tops. and leave the pulleys alone too.

I was going with the pullies to kinda get the mpg up a little.. Do they just not help or what?

cant they cause problems with the water pump or something of the sort?

Not enough to be an issue on water pump. it is the alternator output that may suffer if the pulley set is not designed, matched and installed right. it is meant to reduce power draw from power steering pump and a/c.

I put UD's on my 91 Stang....the alt output voltage was so low at idle that the stereo sub would dim the headlights. I had to upgrade the Alt and the power wires. Not sure how UD's act on a Hoe.
