Turn Signal Mirrors upgrade

I did the DL3 mod on the 02. Plug and play on the 03 and up. I like the turn signal, power fold and puddle lamp features on the DL3 mirros.

What door switch did you use since you only have the two windows ?

If you just hook the mirrors up to the existing harness you will get the mirrors and puddle lamps to work. Full functionality can be done by wiring them up to a switch.

I had these mirrors smoothed and painted ~ 4 years ago. I picked up another set about 6 months ago. I had those sanded, prepped, and color matched. They will get installed when I repaint the truck one of these days when I am done with this travel assignment.

Depends on what year truck you have. The 99 - 02 silverados will partially function meaning mirror control and active puddle lamps. You will not get turn signals for power fold unless you wire them up independently to a swtch. I cant say for sure about the signals.

If you have an 03-07 NBS model all you have to do is get the switch as you have pictures in the image. From what I recall the BCM controls those funchtins in conjunction with the switch. I have an 02. Thus I cannot speak for those models.

You have the proper powerfold switch on the 2 door panel. The one in the 4 door panel is the non powerfold switch. The powerfold switch actually lights up when you put the left/right toggle switch in the center(the black switch above the power mirror switch)
You can plug your mirror plugs in here--says what color plug goes where--, and your turn signals will work np--
That's the underside of the master window switch. My powerfold doesn't work, and I haven't had time to figure out why. Iirc, @Sam Harris actually helped me out and sent me a wiring diagram for it. Hopefully he'll chime in.
Just for the hell of it---I popped the mirror off and this is the led for the turn signal.
