Did a search, couldn't find anything, time to ask the collective:

Sometimes when I use the right signal, both left and right signals flash like I hit the 4 way flashers. Won't do it if I use the left signal, that will always flash normal. I can figure out no consistent trigger to make it happen.

Turning the hazards on and off won't cure it. Sometimes I'll switch over to the left, then back, and it'll work fine, sometimes not.

Any ideas?

My instinct is it's the multi-function switch, but since they're over $100, I'm loath to just parts swap until I fix it.

Anyone else come across this?

It's an 04 Denali.

have you recently done anything like big 3 upgrade, install an aftermarket stereo anything

I did install a Kenwood I got from Crutchfield (with their harness setup for my specific truck/speakers) when I bought the truck. So I don't know if it did it before I bought the truck this summer, stereo went in the first week.

What do you think is the linkage on that?

My 04 does the same thing and it seems if I turn the hazards on and off then it won't do it for a while. I haven't installed anything so I'm wondering if mine is the wiring in the steering column

2004 Yukon Denali ... Old post with the same "new for me" problem. Right turn activates 4 way flashers. If those that have done this fix successfully please reply. I saw the response to replace 10383321 flasher. Apparently there are two flashers available, the other is 10383320. Anyone know the difference?

I had the same issue about a year ago or so. Turned out to be the rear lighting block. I didn't even replace, just pulled off the connectors and found a pin that was nice and green. Cleaned it up and has worked fine ever since. First i tried the flasher module, that wasn't it. You can replace the block for about $15-20 off amazon if you want. It's located by the right rear wheel well. I'd definitely at least take a look at the junction block before you buy anything. Here's some links:
