Hey man, I'm looking at doing a similar setup to yours and was taking a look inside the A-Pillars tonight and got a little confused....

Was there a crossover from the A-Pillar tweeter to the front door woofer on the factory system or did the tweeter wiring go right to the factory deck.

How did you go about connecting your front component set and then get the wiring to the head unit?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, I haven't been on the forum in a while. There is no Passive crossover network for the front componets, the Bose amp splits the signal at the amp. As for me, I ran new speaker wire to the door and A pillar for 2 reasons(1. so I can run much more current, and 2. so that I can hook the stock speakers back up to the stock wiring harness when/if I sell my truck).

I mounted my amp under the center console so that i wouldn't have to run wires all over the place.

How does this install handle the bass as you change the volume? What I'm getting at is that the bose stock head unit seems to have a loudness effect on it in that it tappers the bass off as you raise the volume. Does the 3sixty processor compensate for this?

you'll see huge gains, by getting rid of the factory HU and getting a better aftermarket with RCAs, etc
