My 95 did that. I ordered a refurb cluster from USDashworks. I saw them referenced either on this site or the GMT400 site. It solved my issue.

I'll definitely keep my eyes out for a 120 speedo ... But am really curious as to how you obtained the cubby where the passenger side door bag would have went. I would really really REALLY want to have that in my ride.

2500’s and 3500’s base models had no pass airbag either....
That cubby can swap into the same type of dash that has and airbag
