Will U2-55's effect your ride? No

Will 26" rims with rubberband tires effect your ride? Yes!

I have 26's on my truck. Yes, they do rub a little when you're doing really sharp turns. Its rides a little rough, but I also have a 2/3 drop as well. I couldn't tell you how it would ride at factory ride height. But I can say this, they sure look good! Check out "My new Tahoe" album to get an idea how they would look!

305/30 26 is going to be about the biggest tire you're going to find in mass supply. If you want 26s you'll have to deal with diminished ride quality. You make it up in the looks department. I have 305/30 26 tires on my 26s and the ride is fine it just ain't factory.

Upgrading brakes first is a must. I could not afford the bbk like others have which is ideal but I'm very happy with my setup from r1. There is a vendor here freedom motorsports who has them on sale this month. I have hawk pads. Stops my rig on 26" with no prob. Everyone who has driven it is supposed how well the brakes perform on the big rims.
