I pressured washed the crap out of the underside, then sprayed everything with Walmart brand ($0.97 a can) black primer, which has held up fantastic through even pressure washing, next it will get duplicolor undercoating or bed liner depending on the funds.

Up here in new england where the road salt gets everywhere, it's impossible to stop the rust, but slowing it down is what I do, Ive been using Eastwood companies inner frame coating after getting the flaky rust off, then applying duplicolor truckbed coating. That keeps the rust to a minimum.

I have a 95 Tahoe and the underneath is pretty clean some minor surface rust here and there no holes or major rust, so with winter coming up in a few months I am thinking about getting it undercoated but I don't have a lift and don't feel like crawling under it and doing it myself so gonna get some prices from some body shops is there anything you would recommend to have them use? and gonna get the wheel wells done too, whats the best thing to do with them? or is this a bad idea? cause some people say it can accelerate rust cause it can trap moisture, maybe I am better off just washing it off every week, thanks for the help

What part of the country do you live in? If you live in the northeast I would have someone pressure wash the undercarriage then take it to Ziebart to have them undercoat it.

Connecticut, was looking on there site they got a place in MA, I am getting some body work done the end of the month the body shop is gonna clean up my wheel wells and under coat them (just minor chips and surface rust) gonna clean it up and under coat it with I think it was BMW or Mercedes forget which, under coating its indestructible, cause my frame is solid just minor surface rust no rot and the floors are solid not rust at all, I pretty much was it a few times a week during the winter and it shows, just debating what I wanna do with the frame either gonna have a shop clean it up and paint it or I will do it myself

I just had Ziebart completely coat both sides of my frame plus all the sheetmetal underneath with undercoating.
