Here is what the 2017 input board looks like.

I do not have a 2015-2016 to test it on.

Anyone got pics of the older version?IMG_6515.JPGIMG_6516.JPGIMG_6517.JPGIMG_6521.JPG

This module doesn't have any restrictions on HDMI playback while in motion, plus gives you the option of adding 4 cameras.
Cheaper than any HMI module I've ever seen...

Looks like Escalade owners were left out.

From the looks of this unit, if the connectors are the same as the 2015-2016 trucks, it should be plug and play.

Of the three major chips on this board, one of them appear to be a digital to analog converter.

Yeah, Escalade is a completely different system re: display connections.

Walt,
I tried to find some reviews on this, including pricing but found no info. Is this new? On the market? I tried to call, but it's Saturday so no answer.

Here's a review written by a recent customer: http://www.silveradosierra.com/mobile-electronics/rostra-multi-camera-hdmi-input-t593801.html and sorry for not answering the phone - it was my honey-do day. :- )

The only thing I can say re: personal observation is that this does exactly what it says it does - HDMI input that does not convert to analog video (which makes a HUGE difference in video quality, especially since the factory monitor is so hi-res), and it is a certified HDMI input, meaning that any device that adheres to the HDMI spec will work, so it's not limited to a phone or tablet. This is an additional step that most Chinese manufacturers do not take since it's so expensive to do, so you are not guaranteed that any HDMI device will work in a non-certified module.

I don't want to disrespect the forum by discussing cost, so if you'd like to PM me or login to the site using "paypal" as username & password, you can get it.
