Getting all of the wires sorted out and did the ground wire connection and now I'm confused on which goes to which the instructions are pointless or maybe I got the wrong unit? pic 1&2 are the connections and 3 is the back of my unit please help I'm about to throw this thing in the lake

You don't need those connections. I think they are for the center-point Bose. Just plug the two or three wires from the old radio into the harness, and then only plug in the used wires on the harness into the rosen unit. The one in the second pic with all the little wires can be set aside, I didn't use it. Part of the harness connectors (i think 2 or 3) aren't used at all and just sit there. The ones that are used will only fit in the exact slot, so you can't mess it up. Let me know if you need more clarification!

yeah, i didn't hook up any of those wires and it works fine... just plug and play.
