I recently bought an 08 Tahoe LT with factory 17 inch rims. I just bought factory 20 inch rims on Craiglist and had them installed today. About 30 minutes on the interstate and i get "service tire pressure monitor" message. I am hoping I dont have a visit to the dealership ahead of me. Can anyone direct me on a fix?

Take it to the dealer. Takes about 2 minutes and usually they do it for free.

you can do it your self. Its in the owners manual
1. set ebrake
2. turn on to run position
3. Hold lock and unlock on your fob. You will hear a horn chirp.
4. Start with LF, LR, RR then FR lower or raise Air tire until Horn Chirps. Reapat for other tires.

Thats all it is to it

Tampa,

I agree with SuperchargedSS. The best way to find out what the issue is would be to go to the dealership and have it checked out. You could also try putting the normal wheels back on and see if that message shows up.

Thank you!

I need to do this as well. But I thought you had to let all the air of the tires. Is that true or just let a little out and then start putting more air in and it should read it?
